thanks for your generous comments :-) I really struggled with this challenge. I'm still working on my learning!! All of these kinds of efforts are a good help for me!!
Hi Lynner, Very fun, my fave was #3, then #1. I agree this was a challenging week, and it wasn't as easy as it sounded. But we all learned from it! Great shots, and I don't know why but #2 looks like a gigantic mug...is it?
LOL - My 'setups' included giving up on trying to actually create real steam (as I don't own a teakettle like Mark). I then researched the internet and decided to follow the string / thread and a long shutter speed......voila!! my perfect steam. Yes, I used the light from above many, many times, but then learned on my last day of shooting how to just use my natural light in the room along with the long shutter speed :-)
Yuk Yuk, That's not funny, I suppose you thought you could fool me with the old string on the flashlight trick. Well it worked. You did a good job on it and it looks natural. Who invented that anyway? I found a few new faces around the house too.
You keep doing great work Sis, MY favorite was number 3, it looked good enough to be a commercial.....excellent work..!!!!!

ReplyDeleteLOL.....no, #2 cup is not gigantic at all....just how I had edited it I guess.
DeleteNow that's what I'm talkin about Lynn. These are all excellent. What was your setup to get the perfect steam. Looks like a light from above.
