This was QUITE the assignment!! I was not exactly able to complete every one of Joanne's requested photos, but the following are what I did manage to get.
#1 Bubbles
#2 newspapers. I included the iPad in this photo because my husband and I read addt'l newspapers electronically.
#3. A B&W photo of my choosing
#4. It starts with "J"
#5. Yard critter taken at ground level.
You made me laugh regarding the "mega assignment"! How did you get bubbles to stay in formation on a hard surface, I really struggled on the bubbles pic. Your B&W is breathtaking - I'm guessing it's a sunset and I think it really evokes emotion. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your generous comments Jo.....these were definitely NOT my best work - LOL. I need to get refocused on composition and clarity. Thanks again.
DeleteGood thinking on the Ipad Sis, I had actually contemplated how I could incorporate the Ipad or computer into that picture of newspaper since the world has gone so electronic....good job....and like Joanne, how dod you get the bubbles to do that... I thought about using a bubble machine and getting them to stick on glass or something but nothing worked....good job on that one also...I did like your B&W a Lot too but I really liked the jewelry, ;loved that black background and all the different lengths etc...it all looked so professional with the colors and lengths.....
ReplyDeleteyour comments are very sweet....but I was disappointed in my own shots for this challenge. I'm going to keep trying though!!! Pretty soon I might be closer to your skills :-) (love you tons!)
DeleteYou are right--this was quite the thing. You did good. I actually like the black and white sunset. Good example of rule of thirds. Sun on one third and horizon on one third.
ReplyDeletethis assignment didn't look that challenging at first glance but every category required a 'change of gears'! The sunset was great for obviously they usually get their wow factor from the colors - doing one in B&W worked great and yes, good composition!
