#14 Things in Motion

I am first to admit here that this was a really tough challenge for me. I think I do well with "stop motion" photography, but it's hard for me to wrap my brain around SHOWING the motion.
The squirrel is moving (as note by his hind leg off the ground.
These birds are all moving at once.
Duh, moving is understood, I guess the water might look a little blurry to validate he is moving.

a little better here, but I still struggle
Fisherman has just thrown his casting net and it has hit the water with a splash.
another duh, moving....but the whole picture is fuzzy. Ugh -

  1. My, you and Mark are over-achievers with your many pics!
My fave's are #2, and #3. They both show nice stop motion and are in perfect focus!

  2. start with what I thought was my favorite and that is number 4.....forgetting the motion and the action, I just really love that picture.....then number 5 I thought was terrific as it really showed the whole motion idea....Great job.....
I think you were spot on with what we were doing Lynn... t fisherman and the surfer would have been great shots if the subjects had been more in focus, but it is difficult with slow shutter speeds.....overall, though, great job and a perfect understanding of what the assignment was....another comment on my favorite number 4 was capturing the reflection of the gull on the water

  3. I really liked the reflection of the bird in the water too, as well as the composition of the fisherman and skier!

  4. Lynn, is it a bit scary getting close to all those birds?
